wildforce71I've been meaning to post this for a while, but I haven't made it to DW/LJ lately. Today I happened to log in. And it's the birthday of the sparkliest one! *Andrea, hope it was a great day.
It makes this very appropriate, because I found it in old comment replys; I obviously posted it to you at some point, but I have no memory of it. (Though judging by the next about twenty comments, I kept referring to it.) I'm guessing you don't either. I feel like the time is right to resurrect it. Let's make it common again!
Some time soon, you will receive a NINJA HUG.
What is a NINJA HUG, you ask? I'll tell you.
A NINJA HUG is a hug given by a ninja. This ninja is so skilled and so fast you won't even be sure it's happened.
Then what's the point, you ask? I'll tell you. (pushy!)
The ninja will carefully and non-obtrusively observe you until the optimum moment for a hug; when someone upsets you, when you're feeling sick or at a low ebb, or just when you look like you need it. Right at that moment, you will suddenly feel comforted and things will look just a little bit brighter. You'll know that people are thinking of you and that you are loved, and nothing is insurmountable.
That, my very dear friend, is a NINJA HUG.
So on a sparkly birthday, a sparkly ninja hug to you, sparkliest of people!

Thank you for this great revisitation of the Very Important ninja hug (it made me feel happy just reading about it - must have been a true ninja hug!) and so much for the sparkly wishes! They shine even brighter coming from your beautiful glow!
